There is a fishing port near our inn, which is also a treasure trove of fresh seafood caught in the local Kii Channel.

        The grouper found in the "Matsubayashi" is a natural species of grouper.
        It is said that there are so few wild groupers that even professional fishermen cannot catch many of them.
        Its mild yet fatty flavor makes it such a highly valued fish that it is said "once you've eaten grouper, you can't eat any other fish."

        It has been certified as "Premier Wakayama" as "Tatsugahamo".
        With its mild white flesh, it is known as a luxury fish that can be used in a wide variety of dishes.
